Uhuru Garden and Minipark
Watts, CA
Competition entry for Garden and training center, Watts's
district, Los Angeles. The amphitheater is used as a sundial
and a teaching allotment garden is provided to the patients
of the watt health foundation enrolled in drag rehabilitation
program. In addition the design provides examples of the
use of trees connected to the origins of the residents and the
traditions of Southern California. Today the entire area is
converted to community gardens lots.
